New short series: Paragraphing Skills
A short, focused workshop series for late Term 3 2024,
building an essential skill for adult written communication

$180 for 3 x two hour workshops - 10am-12 noon, Tues 10th, 17th, 24th September
@ the Arboretum Cafe - SE corner, near exit to Bonsai section -
First session free for new students to 'test the waters' (then full fee if continuing)

Session 1: Understanding paragraph purpose, audience and structure

Session 2: Developing coherence and flow

Session 3: Incorporating evidence and varying the basic structure

Maximum 8 participants, with some content differentially pitched for 12-14 yrs and 14-17 yrs​

optional homework exercises available for practice and extension - brief individual feedback available 9:40-10am before Sessions 2 and 3

Materials to bring:

an A4 lined notebook (current English subject notebook is fine)

a wallet folder for handouts

pen or pencil

a drink and a snack​
